Dusty's New Job!!!

Praise the Lord!  Dusty started a new job today!  We knew he would, in God's timing, but man, that wait was horrible!  It's been almost 3 months to the day since Dusty got the news that he'd likely lose his job in 30 days.  Two months of Dusty being at home, out of work, searching for jobs every single day, applying, having phone interviews, office interviews, etc., waiting for the good news that he got one of the jobs he interviewed for.  Although the economy has improved significantly, there are still a lot of people in the job market.  One of our good friends had a position open at his employer that was the same position as what Dusty was applying for.  Our friend's company didn't pay quite where Dusty hoped to be, so he didn't apply for the position.  Well, our friend told us that they had 35 qualified applicants for the position!  35!!  That is crazy and had me very worried.  That's a lot of people in the hunt for the same job as Dusty. 

After several phone and on-site interviews, Dusty interviewed for a position, and left the interview feeling very hopeful.  Dusty made an immediate connection with the HR rep, and when interviewing on-site, felt right at home.  We prayed this was the job God intended for him to have, since it felt so right to Dusty.  Well, after making the 2nd round, Dusty got the call almost 2 weeks ago that they were offering the job to him!  Praise God! 

Dusty started that job today, and I can't wait to hear how it went.  I hope and pray this job is the perfect fit for Dust!
